It does seem noticably slower though. I'm running Windows 10 in VirtualBox for now though so it might be a non-issue when running natively and on an SSD.
Disabled the password at boot, and now my MSA photo doesn't appear. So far so good. Thank you all clearing up my doubts about MKA earlier
Because you can genuinely RE-activate on a clean install if you've previously activated from an upgrade.
Is it reasonable to assume that 10240 will continue to receive updates up until and beyond June 29th? I'd like to begin heavily modifying Windows 10 and don't want to waste my time if 10240 will soon be made obsolete by another build.
I don't know what to tell you mate. Old Windows folder had .sys files in it, Couldn't delete it because 'The files are open by another program' I forced it to delete and shut it down. This morning I had a screen that kept dimming on me, media buttons wouldn't work to adjust the screen and I got a BSoD every time I tried to connect to the library WiFi. Borrowed a USB WiFi dongle, that connected fine. Went to HP's site grabbed the WLAN drivers, installed and rebooted. No more BSoD on connection, so I grabbed the Vid and media button drivers too.
