here is something strange i am watching HSN Channel and they are selling computers with Windows 1o all ready installed and they are selling them for $700.00 so windows 10 build 10240 must be the RTM
same here i was on w 8.1 pro with mtk autokms and it says activated on all 10130 and 10240 ( the ony ones i'd installed as insider) i uninstalled the autokms after the first preview build installation. It says activated permanently. i checked again and since i had to manually update to this version ( update wasn't showing on windpws update) the key changed to the generic one.
Don't let the looks fool you, its looks and acts nice... use it for continuous hours or months and see, the bugs will come out of nowhere, just the way it is... can't be fixed. Will RedStone be more bastardized or completely fresh? I hope the later.
even if its preorder which i dont think it is they are selling HP Laptops with windows 10 installed and running which i think its weird i thought it was not signed off yet as the RTM
NO free lunch for enterprise. Even if you have a legitimate Win8.1 enterprise MAK, you'll lose your activation once upgrade to Win 10. The only way to go right now is clean install and then use KMS.
i found lastnight when i used the newer KMSpico app after un-installing it i wasnt activated but i switched to Microsoft toolkit version 2.5.3.0 and ive stayed activated.
And how was the version you upgraded from (before Windows 10) activated? Legit key or Daz Loader or similar?
He used Windows 8.1 so it's not going to be a loader. On the subject of the loader I've actually heard mixed reports. Some people say that it'll work after a fresh install and some say that it doesn't. There might be a difference in how people do it though e.g. a reset vs an actual format. I'll look into it when I've got a little more free time.
