    as long as you don't change either mobo or cpu or both, you can do clean installs of same version and be automatically validated

    Insider Previews = full builds

    Non-Insiders (RTM) = get only cumulative updates through Windows Update

    Insiders get to see and use new features months/weeks before RTM non-Insiders

    ~10586 becomes new baseline Win10 RTM in a few days

    Not sure if my question was ever answered. Can I install this over a fully updated Windows 10 10240 RTM and essentially be updated to the consumer TH2 release and not on the Insider program?

    Will try that.

    I just tried that and mine does not show a date like his does.
    Does that mean it will never expire.
    I am on the insider program.
    Still shows that I am on it too.
