Yes, it's a TP because it comes in build form. The actual update for RTM to 1511 won't come in a complete build, it will come by way of WU in a cumulative form. The official .iso when released will not say "technical preview" because it will then become the new baseline RTM. Opens fine for me without error. Not seeing that here at all...
Many thanks for the tip, but this still doesn't work, no idea why, the installer still asks for a key withouth allowing me to skip that. I've googled a bit about this, tried different combinations and still nothing. Downloading an ISO from a different source now...
Single-edition ISO would not allow SKIP. It prompts for a key only when EDITION mismatched. If EDITION + LANGUAGE matched = Upgarde with the ability to keep everything. If EDITION matched, but LANGUAGE mismatched = Upgrade with the ability to keep personal files. If with EI.cfg and/or PID.txt, it will install directly according to the conditions mentioned above.
Thanks xinso, i missed your input and again right on the money It looks for bios (windowsm) key, not?
I just hopped up while installing language packs to get Windows 8.1 UWF. They are talking about Windows 10, or Windows 10 OEM device??? (I have no time, so look backwards.) (Never mind. If I was doing the wrong thing. I will come back to say sorry.)
@xinso - Any idea how to remove "Scan with Defender" from right click context menu of files and folders? Post.
Weird one, have also searched extensively and looked at suggested places in the registry and found nothing regards the "Scan with Windows Defender" item! Code: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFileSystemObjects\ShellEx HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
So anyone know if this is the actual RTM or just an escrow? There really isn't much talk about it right now.
i have installed pro version. i didnt see a watermark, an expiration date, or technicel preview label anywhere. i doesn't look like a preview but i dont know.
