I mean, not for public but for inside/insiders. After this 10586 esd release there will be MSDN iso's and not seperatly released "insider iso's".
If we are to go by your view it means you are objecting Microsoft reputable employee statement. It is clearly stated on the Windows blog to be Insider Preview.
Well yea, because insiders ISOs are for Insiders to test before they become RTM, once they are RTM, Insiders get the update first, then the public gets it The whole point of the Insiders program, is to test builds before they become RTM... once they are RTM, why would Insiders need to test them? - They will start releasing new builds to test that will become the 'next' RTM Insiders > 10 RTM Insiders > TH2 RTM Insiders > Next release RTM
You are correct that it is a build sent to the Insider Preview program, but it is in fact the TH2 RTM build everyone will receive, albeit with a cumulative/rollup update, later in the month. Same thing happened with 10240 if I recall correctly. Simply put, if this was another Insider Preview Build, we would have a watermark stating that. It's essentially the RTM of TH2, even though they don't use that term anymore.
Insider did get the esd's is it really ms policy that they also compile/create/make special insider iso's containing the same content?
Microsoft just go about their normal build process, like they have done for every version of Windows, except with Win 10, they now release certain builds to the Insiders members to test Nothing special about the builds, not compiled specifically for Insiders, just cherry picked for us to test, they continue testing them internally too
Okay. I like a clear-cut information. Sources from Microsoft itself prove otherwise. There is nothing to say about that at this point in time than to accept what the software maker describes it to be.
Starting to get updates in Windows 10. I only see this related to Windows 10 Cumulative update for Windows 10 for x64 based systems (KB3105213)
I still have been able to find out what exactly changed/add/removed/fixed/edited in this 10586 build, except for the Activation??? Are there performance improvements? Overall fixes?
LTSB got: Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3103688) Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2 x64 Edition - November 2015 (KB890830) Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3105213)
Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3105213) Windows 10,Windows 10 LTSB Security Update 515,2 MB
Is cumulative update what we are expecting as TH2 for consumer? That is preposterous to say the least.
On the Insider Build: KB3105211 Cumulative update version 1511 KB3103688 Flash Player Update version 1511
