Which is why you may as well just go for the 'fresh' install regardless, for all the time it takes anyway Upgrade f**ks all settings up anyway.
That sucks. I guess I'll be waiting for TH3/Redstone/Whatever since I upgraded this machine like 2 weeks ago and it's set up exactly how I want it.
Fantastic and the fact that it is x32 and x64 makes it so convenient! xD Is there anyway to get an iso like this from techbench or MSDN? Thank you for the reply...
windows 10 is a mess... so, every 4 months (more or less) we will have to download a crap full iso/esd f****** file so we upgrade our systems. Or we download the full iso (almost the same size) and do a clean install so we dont get too much troubles with the upgrades.. no control over windows updates, no controle over drivers updates, no control over telemetry s**t, a lot of crap updates every week, nothing good for directx 12 to be expected in the near future and the upgrade s**t every month or from 4 to 4 months... what a crap Microsoft, what a crap... good that I still have my beloved windows 7 sp1 pro iso..
My desktop and laptop both have SLICs for Windows 8 home but both were legitimately upgraded to Pro when MS had a $14.99 upgrade offer. Both upgraded to 8.1 and then 10 Pro and have Digital Entitlements. What scares me is if I try a fresh install on either I won't get the option to chose Pro because of the SLICs that say home. I hope someone figures that out before something happens.
Welcome to Win 10. I've been doing the very things you say since 1 Oct. 2014 and I have no problem doing it. Sometimes as an Insider we get 3 New Builds to install in 1 week. More likely 1 New Build a month.
Well, Like I mentioned a while ago. Even if you leave the insider ring, you still are technically an insider but your builds are not as frequent. Imagine an update that does a full install on an existing win 10 build. Ohh I can't imagine the junk and the cross wires of build over another build. Purists really like to have a clean version of their OS and hate coats of paint than can start to crack or peel off (if you get my drift). Pro updated like a full new version and my Enterprise is on the wait and see list with MS. Imagine a major install every three months!!!
My small tablet (Single Language x86) received it about 8 hours ago. My main PC (Education x64), first it started to download but then it stopped and disappeared (and never appeared again), so I made myself an ISO and forced the upgrade.
Media Creation Tool No Windows 10 Professional Option... Well I just finished downloading the 32bit and 64bit iso (Merged with the Media Creation Tool) Figured I'd do a clean install on my venue 8 Pro and there is no pro option available? (aka no dropdown list) Looks like ill just be downloading murphys .iso What Gives!
