I used the MSDN multi-edition to upgrade from 10240 and now have 10586.0, x64 Pro. I understand that there's a small update to get to 10586.3 but WU isn't giving me anything. Anyone know the file or files?

Starting from this build, Microsoft combines Core (Home) & Pro, just like MSDN ISO. Based on your product key, the appropriate SKU will be automatically selected.

God well thats just terrible. Why not just implement a drop down list? My Venue 8 Pro had a clean install of 7 Ultimate upgraded to 10 Pro. So now when I reinstall with their "smart" auto picker it gives me the wrong SKU, wastes my time, and now im left unactivated.

I agree this is absurd. I have no problem with incremental updates. But this is just pure lazyness. It basically just reinstalls the entire dam OS. And leaves a big Windows.Old folder that some people cant even move due to driver migration. Half the peoples updates are disappearing or failing.

Someone will have to come up with the way to create an unattended install file that allows you to force pro onto an machine that really wants to be home. Hopefully someone is working on it already.

Does not work. I ran setup from an ISO created dvd on a Home machine and all it offered to do was update to Home. Ran it on a Pro machine and it wanted to update Pro.

I'm talking about the ISOs from MSDN which are multiple-editions, not the ones from media tool creation.

How do you forced the update? I've got and USB made up from the media creation tool. Will that work? How I can upgrade from that?

Yep seems like everyone is having the same problem.
Can someone link us to a dedicated x64 Windows 10 Pro Build?

You should check the SHA1 of the file you have.
