Did you see for yourself or heard it somewhere? EDIT: Hmmm, you're wright, it's multi now Than just delete the Home index from the wim file.
That is not how it works anymore. There is no such thing as a Pro Iso at this point. Setup is automatically detecting an SLIC and installing the version it corresponds to. I don't have a generic machine to test on to see what it does if there is no SLIC present. As of this point installing pro to a clean drive is problematic.
DITTO! Looks like I may end up just downloading the original RTM untill someone sorts this mess out. Great job Microsoft..
DELETE the Home index and you have PRO only. When slic2.1 (w7) or oemm table/key (w8.x/10) is in bios than it's leading which version you get. Is there any need for pro if your branded/oem system originally contained 8.1 Home/core or 7 basic/premium?
I think the people who are having such "problems" are the source of those "errors" they most likely did some "surgery (tweaking/modding)" themselve which probably causes the problem MDL is not a distribution site for ms, it's to learn something
Nope, current Feature Updates are tested on the "Home" and "Pro" pawns and only if despair and suicide rate remains under certain limits updates are transferred to a new LTSB release. The first one is announced to be released about 1 year after the release of Win 10 and then every 2-3 years. That´s what MS has published.
Using the old media creation tool still allows me to pick which version I want to download. But will it be the latest build?
It will download 10240 I am actually getting Pro so I can be sure I can install it. Even if I have to upgrade 10586 immediately after.
