Im installing the Windows 10 update on my laptop now(First laptop then desktop) whats weird to me at least is that the Updating Windows reminds me a lot of when I first installed windows 10, goes through copying files, installing features and drivers, configuring settings..so just want to be sure that I am NOT going to lose anything that I have on my computer right now that its just updating and not reformatting
So, Any new ADK? Because there is DISM.EXE File version 10.0.10586.0 in \windows\system32, I just guess there should be a new ADK release for Windows 10 Build 10586.
Answer from Microsoft Answer Desk regarding the slow and laggy boot Oh Sorry we can't resolve this one. You will need to pay for the subscribed support and there we will try to fix it. Don't waste your time trying to fix it with MS chat. They aren't going to say us nothing.
Dunno why you thought you'd get much help from MS support anyway, they just read scripts from a screen
After upgrade, I lost mouse pointer in "Choose Operating System" screen. Move my mouse arround, and choose ok, but don't see "arrow mouse pointer"?
Same here. Clearly this build wasn't given enough time in testing before it was released to public. The laptop brightness problem is driving me insane too.
DPC latency of ndis.sys still not fixed. this update is a overhyped piece of shyt , just like windows 10 itself.
I dont know why people do this when they can get free help online and sometimes it more professional then microsoft tech support. because some people from these forums are more seasoned and knowledgeable then Microsoft employes. I also hate it when people bring their computers to Best Buy to get fixed, when their next door neighbor could of done it for free and faster.
