I will admit that I have a really big ego and sometimes think I know everything. and that I express my opinions way too much.
Has anyone done the upgrade to TH2 from build 10240 and notice if the key has been replaced by a generic key? I'm asking because I am considering to upgrade and make a new backup of the activation, then do a clean install of Windows 10 TH2 and restore the activation backup made previously. But I've seen some problematic reports with the restoration of the activation, all because of the exchange of keys for a generic.
The new way to get colored titlebars is as follows: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\DWM] "ColorPrevalence"=dword:00000001 However, in TH2, inactive titlebars turn blinding arctic 10,000 lumen white. All of the flashing to-and-frow is driving me batty. Anyway to disable inactive titlebar color change? It's like they can never leave well enough alone Thanks in advance.
Not certain about this scenario. You'd have to try--I'd say it's likely to work cause I haven't heard of any change in the activation system between th1 and th2 except for the fact that 7/8/8.1 keys now work with th2.
Anyone tried a Windows 8.1 Enterprise MAK key on the latest 10586 Enterprise to activate it? And did it work?
MS released new mak to 8.1 holders for 10, same as they did from 8 to 8.1. They are not interchangeable
Today I went to electronic store and I saw laptops with Windows 10 show the desktop of Windows 10, But I couldn't know if it's TH1 or TH2. Both of them the same desktop. Why MS didn't update something on the desktop to know if it is TH1 or TH2 ?
I went yesterday to a department store here in Spain and I saw some computers and they have 10240. They have 10240 because didnt connect the pc to internet because if they upgrade to 10586 and show the costumers all the errors that 10586 have, they will ran away!
I haven't seen the adapter, but upon leaving the PC untouched for about 4 minutes, I do see the little Location beacon appear on the tray. This is interesting, since I'm looking at the Settings/Privacy/Location page right now, and Location is most definitely "Off." How common is this?
