To all Insiders for PC here on MDL, check this Key in the Registry to see if your Branch has changed from th2_release to rs1_release. When the first Build of rs1_release comes out, if you are not on this Branch Windows Update Won't see it and download. iHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability
If I understood you well, it is in Settings | Personalization | Start --> Show recently added apps. There are in there other annoying things that you can turn off too
No, that's already off! I mean the little blue "New" to the right of the app in Start -> All apps, when a new software is installed
Guys, could someone please help me out here. I've installed Kaspersky Internet Security on 2 Systems (Windows 10 PRO-X64) and on both these Systems, the Kaspersky IS taskbar icon looks blurry. At first run after installation the icon looks really crispy w/out any issues, but after the first restart, the icon looks blurry and will stay like this.
But that can't be, because as I said before, at first run the icon looks outstanding, after the first restart (after installation) the icon becomes blurry! And I have even opened a topic in Kaspersky IS forum, someone mentioned that this problem doesn't occur on windows 8 on 125% .
Have you tried it on 100% Normal and rebooted just to try it ? I am still thinking w10 dpi prob but these things can test one
It doesn't, but imo, having tried the 8.1 registry changes to emulate 8.1's font scaling in Win10, I actually prefer to leave the magnification at the default 100% (which means no magnification) & instead simply change the size of all the fonts in Win10 (that can be changed.) All system fonts are not enlargeable, but most are. And the blurriness is 100% eliminated. Settings/Display/Advanced Display Settings/Advanced sizing of text and other items I set all of mine to 11pts from 9. YMMV.
