My USB drive won't show on the v1803 Windows Explorer main pane, when I plug it in. An error message appears after some seconds: Title: "G:\" Message:"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel" It will appear however on the side pane, allowing me to access it via Windows Explorer. Very annoying bug... Just one blocking bug?
Knowledgeable and curious people will likely examine the differences between the failed RTM and final RTM. MS would be better off controlling the flow of information themselves.
well, yes, there are serious bug reported with Surface devices, so I guess that is one of the main reasons that cause the delay of RTM.
ok on behalh of microsoft i will admit their failure that they are human and the software they create is by humans hence imperfect and will always be imperfect otherwise we would all have to buy software and licenses and keys and dvd's and blu-rays and music and games and ebooks and atari cartridges for the console and commodore 64 stuff remind me if i create a saleable digital item that goes viral for a lot of money/crypto to outsource my security to beings that are from another planet atleast twice as smart as us
It's been a few days, no 17134.1 insight I like this drama, everybody call others s**t. I'll keep watching..
And I´ve heard that they are stopping the 6 month new feature crap and that 1709 was the last Windows 10 version and from here on only bug fixes will be supplied, so that another disaster like the planned 1803 does not further destroy confidence in MS.
windows 10 is controlled by User then if windows acts funny Microsoft runs windows 10 75% your on there server. I have tried a fresh install of 10 without the internet and half of the application stuff doesn't work and some of my personal software won't install kind of scary ha
you forgot to put "/s" at the end of your sentence. one could accidentally think, you really believe that.. -andy-
Microsoft should really consider releasing updates only when they're deemed complete, and not trying to follow a 6 month schedule lol.. that's how you end up with crap
Seams there may be a problematic autorun.inf file in the flash drive? Of course Windows ignores autorun.inf files in USB flash drives if I'm not mistaking. I tested a few Sandisk flash drives without issue. Interesting though.
well KB4100375 updates seems to slow down the system , i updated 17133.1 to .73 but have to uninstall it today .. it was causing sluggishness in system.
How about Monday or Tuesday this week? If 180410-1804 is supposed for build time, then I guess we should get it by Tuesday. 180417. Let's see.
MSFT never released this build to the general public, some click bait posters prematurely claimed this build to be rtm, when the Windows Update ESD files came available, most concluded that it will be the RTM as MSFT stopped releasing full ESD's for insider previews many, many, many builds ago.
