    I also ended up doing an in place upgrade from the FCU.
    i did have education installed but ended up with enterprise on this version.
    have had no issues.

    Both are literally the same. Up till the creators update, it mattered whether you are a Home or Pro user coz that would determine whether you can convert to Edu or Ent. After the FCU, MS made it possible to switch editions at will.

    I've never seen any Acrylic options myself either. Where are they supposed to be?

    When using your msa, when it's used for IP settings, it is normal that the insider settings are setup.
