. Other advantage is the fact UUPs can be applied directly, no need for any unpacking like with ESDs.
Nope, needs imagex or wimlib-imagex and only works for fresh install. No clue how Windows does it during the upgrade. Info: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/uup-dump.75052/page-84#post-1410376
Hi guys, i've installed (clean install) the 17133.1 since yesterday and i've noticed that when i power on or reboot the notebook and log in the wifi doesn't connect automatically (connect automatically is ticked and have the latest wifi drivers). The fast boot is off. Anyone with the same problem?
It will not be a converter then besides, it will only work for install.wim, and some may want Pro Workstation edition too and will require Windows 10 Host OS (i won't include dism) maybe a separate pack converter/switcher or a ON/OFF option in convert-UUP.cmd will see
This happens to my system too, but it's rather randomly. Sometimes it connects just fine after a reboot, sometimes it doesn't. If you give it enough time (like a minute or a little more) it will end up connecting eventually. Everything worked fine on the first Creators Update. I had this issue with FCU too.
yeah i forgot to mention that if i wait a minute it will connect, but definitely i didn't have the same behavior with FCU or previous updates....to me it seems more a bug...
Oh i think i've found another issue which is even bigger...this build is somehow using more cpu when idling. I've noticed my cpu temps when windows 1803 is idling are at least 6 to 10 degrees higher than my prev windows (1511.1478). Did the same test with both fresh installs, no 3rd party software installed and left my pc idle: with 1511 the temps are around 35 to 40 degree while with 1803 are around 45 to 48 degrees...very weird...and there's nothing noticeable running.
Same here, sometimes it connects automatically and others it takes like a minute to connect. Very annoying. I am using the latest Killer 1535 WLAN Driver v12.0.0.468 INF only without the Killer Performance Suite which I despise.
