Maybe @pisthai does not understand that the MCT does not download an ISO. It downloads an ESD and does its own conversion to create an ISO. If you extract the products.cab and view the products.xml you can see the addresses that MCT uses. I have highlighted one. If you run MCT without the /Selfhost parameter or a valid products.cab file then MCT will give you the default which in his case is FCU. MCT also leaves behind a folder. You can find it at C:\ESD and it is usually empty once MCT has completed its job. Microsoft will eventually provide ISOs such as those found on MS Visual Studio but this is not what MCT uses.
After upgraded to 1803, I lost brightness adjustment feature. Woking with full brightness. Any idea or solution? TIA!
hmm some people reason like concrete . It works for all others and it will not work on that particular PC?
s1ave77 pointed you to the files to get. Just put them in the same folder. Do not extract the products.cab file. Run MediaCreationTool.exe /Selfhost from a command prompt.
OK, 2 perfect experts again! Luckily I'm just an imperfect human. Not forget, one day everything will be paid back and that's good so! ************************************************* Started again to download, after deleting those 2 Windows Folders. If this times fails again. I'll use a Linux machine for to download, which never was connected to Microsoft!
