You mean you install win 10 Enterprise(using an enterprise iso) & then use a "retail key" to activate it online & now it shows "win 10 Enterprise" in your system info?
I'm horribly confused by this thread. Has the final version of the Spring Creators update been released, or is this still just an insider preview build? So in other words...does this version show up on MSDN subscription page?
It has not been officially released yet. We just use some tricks to get it early. This is the final release build, that will begin rolling out April 10th. It is not out on MSDN yet.
Hi, is there anyone who can share 5 mins of his time to try what I've experienced and quoted please ?
Just want to report back that the trick with the "mediacreationtool.exe /selfhost" with product.cab in the same dir worked great! Successfully upgraded to 1803 using an in place upgrade.
@s1ave77 So I used the method which you told me about with that products.cab and successfully downloaded RS4 via the MCT and installed it but when I checked the products.xml while it was downloading, why does it have China in the name? I selected English US as my language but not sure what's up with that China in the name: <FileName>17133.1.180323-1312.rs4_release_CLIENTCHINA_RET_x64FRE_zh-cn.esd</FileName>
Anyone here has teribble gaming performance? I just noticed it on rocket league (Might be their new update?!), Windows itself runs flawless and is pretty snappy overall, but gaming? All drivers installed by hand (Installed Windows without internet connection disabled driver install) and all are up2date.
Hey, I downloaded the ESD files directly from the link given into the XML file & convert them into ISO via ESD to ISO Decrypter, The two ISO I've got from the ESD of SCU, is 3.90 GB for EN US & 3.91 GB for EN GB, but you are saying your ISO size is 3.46 GB only Anyone explain this to me what makes the ISO file size difference caused by the same sourced ESD
Intel and nvidia, no 3rd party stuff involved. Since it was working fine before, but as I said, i dont know if its the rocket league update or windows or both? So yeah, was just a side-question, MAYBE someone else noticed similar.
Now I am downloading again those two ISO for En-US & En GB via MCT with the products.cab to check the size different compared to the ISO that I've converted earlier via the ESD files.
Anyone else extract just Home and Pro into a .wim and compare RS3 Home+Pro install.wim to RS4 Home+Pro install.wim? Seems the base image shrank a little going from RS3 to RS4. 3.50 GB (3,767,848,789 bytes) -> 3.48 GB (3,738,363,144 bytes)
