you must install the current graphics driver properly in order to use the brightness functionality in Windows or else it will be the same i.e. full brightness & don't forget to install the notebook manufacturer hotkey drivers in order to control brightness via those hotkeys
I installed assassin’s Creed Origins after I upgraded to 17133.1 When I play the game it will run smoothly but it will start to slowdown after awhile and I need to relaunch it to make it run smoothly again. I don't know if it is a bug in the game or in 17133.1
I just checked & found earlier ISO that converted from ESD are with install.wim Now going to check the new ISO that I am downloading with MCU right now with the products.cab
It's the settings used, when you use the MCT it will use install.esd instead of install.wim, install.esd will be appr. 30% smaller then install.wim.
Ran optimize and things didn't change much. 3.50 GB (3,767,834,545 bytes) -> 3.48 GB (3,738,349,060 bytes)
Then I should say: No driver-booster, driver searching tools or any automating driver install utilities Pretty weird though... game itself runs okay-ish, having massive FPS drops in menu, even freezes for like 2-3 seconds. So I hope its RL itself, or maybe I should wait a nvidia update.
I fired up a couple of games last night (No Man's Sky and Phantasy Star Online 2) and I'm not sure.. they didn't 'feel' right. Maybe slightly choppy? I don't play NMS much so I can't remember how it played last time, and PSO2 just had an update so that might have had something to do with it. I did verify the nVidia drivers were the same as before the Win10 upgrade though.
Yeah same, games are running "okay" but they feel weird, cant explain .. sluggy? choppy? Might be driver related.
ok so here it is, the ISO size difference is for install.wim & install.esd, now I get it, just one last question, apart from these & the ISO size, I presume there is technically no other difference in these ISO Asking these to know, from which one I should make a clean installation
Nope, install.wim, install.esd or install.swm are all the same, only difference in compression. install.esd = compression:recovery install.wim = compression:max install.swm = split wim files
Yes, I said the same in my earlier comment if you read carefully by saying 'apart from these & the ISO size, I presume there is technically no other difference in these ISO' & here the size is different for the different compression technique usage Still, TY for confirming. Then I guess I am good to go with the smallest ISO size 3.4GB instead 3.9GB
Well, what else I can say now, it seems I am just not so 'Enthousiast' like you, so got it lately now in this time around.
Hey, I think nobody tried anything in safe mode so that's why you are not getting any reply on your issue.
In RS4 (17133.1) I got Blue Screen (Not green, Blue !) if I run "Intel Desktop Utilities". Problem solved.
Problem with driver printer Epson WF-3540. two installed printers appear in the control panel. one works (as I did to install the god drivers only knows it); the other is not and you can not eliminate it from there. But could not they permanently remove the control panel? Imho does not work very well.
