In RS4 (17133.1) I got Blue Screen (Not green, Blue !) if I run "Intel Desktop Utilities". Problem solved.
Problem with driver printer Epson WF-3540. two installed printers appear in the control panel. one works (as I did to install the god drivers only knows it); the other is not and you can not eliminate it from there. But could not they permanently remove the control panel? Imho does not work very well.
Network discovery is totally broken I cant even restart DNS services in hope to detect network devices. I tried dns flush in command prompt nothing works any way to reset it!
try this Turn on and put it to Automatic under: Control Panel All Control Panel Items Administrative Tools Services DNS Clinet (on) ( on and Automatic By Default) Function Discovery Resource Publication (on) (on and Manual By Default) SSDP Discovery (on) (on and Manual By Default) UPnP Device Host (on) (OFF and Manual By Default)(Seems to work without this one turn on)
I got BSOD when running the program Intel Desktop Utilities. I don't know if in second clean install of Windows I get it again. It's worked in all versions of Windows. Is this program necessary ?
Thanks mate, so it seems a bug of this build (even being the RTM !!!). I hope Microsoft could fix it.
No, all it does is monitor temps/fan speeds/voltages etc of your motherboard, there are plenty of alternatives that do the same. You can get all these settings in your bios without using Intel Desktop Utilities.
It will be the smbus driver that is required for Intel Desktop Utilities to work, maybe a bad driver is causing it to crash, but like I say you don't need it, try using snappy driver installer to find out what driver is missing, remember to make a system restore point before using
Just for to let those know, who faced the problem with MediaCreationTool.exe /Selfhost as I ending up to get either an Error in CMD (Admin) Prompt or ended up with Fall Creator Upgrade: MediaCreationTool.exe and Product.cab has to be in the same Folder Before starting the creation process, the folders $WINDOWS.~BT and $Windows.~WS need to be deleted from drive C:/ Recycle Bin need to be empty Before using the command 2 & 3 need to be done again Before any new use of the command for creation or user end up with error I tested that twice an 2 computers this morning. If the 2 folders is not deleted and the Recycle Bin is not cleared, an Error will occur.
I'm seeing that on the machine where i did the in place upgrade, the timeline history doesn't add new activities. Any clue?
