1.Can someone please explain all this to me I am confused theres the fast ring , slow ring , and now a release preview. What is the difference ? 2.Is the build now in the release preview different from the the other ones ? 3. I am not in any of those rings and would like to install RS4 whats the fastest and easiest way to make an iso for clean install ? I am currently on RS3 Thanks
#1: These are the 3 Insider Preview rings. Fast and Slow give preview releases of the NEXT version of Windows, with Slow giving users the chance to opt to receive fewer builds, in theory only those builds considered the most stable. The Insider Preview allows people to stay on the CURRENT Windows version, but receive cumulative updates before everyone else (ie as previews). When a new Windows release is imminent, the final build is released first to the Fast ring, then to the slow and finally to the Insider Preview ring. Note that this is the only time Insider Preview users get updates other than the current release - they receive it usually only a few days before it is finally released to the public. #2: The build going out to Release Preview users now is the same build as Fast and Slow ring users have already received. They're just the last ones to get it before it finally goes public. #3: See the OP of this thread for information about this.
Last I read it appears to be just a cosmetic bug. I noticed the latest RS5 build listed what appeared to be this bug among the fixes.

The UUP direct apply (and possibly other) bugs in Imagex 17133 are still there, unfortunately, as they were in 16299 (tested a minute ago). So it's still 15063 Imagex for me...
