full esd was insider till they change it for uup files ...now esd is available when rtm come out usual is going combo full esd +mct.
At the OP you can find the ESD's for clientconsumer (OEMRET) and clientbusiness (VL) and all other info.
I am new to all of this and I do not know a lot of the things you are saying in all honesty. Again sorry for being so new to all of this.
Windows 10 Spring Update “They” say: – Nobody knows what the actual name of the update is. – Nobody knows why the update was not released. – Nobody knows when it will be released. Reckon the “inside sources” failed them, and us.
This is crazy. And could be the first time since W10 build 10240 original launch and Insiders Program that a build released also on "Release Preview" ring won't be the same as RTM or ISO published on GA also with MCT + CUs. Let's hope that 17134.1 is only for internal testing purpose, and that MS will still sort this mess out with a simple new CU for 17133.1 (that most of us have already installed or even clean-installed) :/
10240.16384 was the correct and one and only real RTM of 10. (A cu never will bump it to 17134.1, CU's normally only bump the delta build nr.)
Yeah, what I meant was "let's hope we won't need a new build at all", and that they will keep 17134.1 for internal tests only. Let's hope for a GA distribution of a new CU for 17133.1 only
Cloud is deprecated. Now every version has a 'S Mode' that can be activated by: Code: reg add HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\CI\Policy /v WindowsLockdownTrialMode /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f
I much rather prefer a "cleaner", less buggier RTM ISO than having to resort to multiple zero day CU to resolve issues. I always clean install after RTM releases anyways. So, 17134 might be good news after all.
Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 has already received two updates after 17133.1, but there has been no Windows 10 SDK 10.0.17133.x for C++ so far.. so 17134.1 can be the real RTM. Edit: As I remember, as soon as 16299 was released, SDK 10.0.16299.0 for C++ was available for Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 in the new update too.
