Yeah changelogs were actually fairly short, I quickly read all from December to May and I think I found the one responsible.
Hi all. An amateur question. I installed win 10 LTSC 2019 to my 2 old laptops, cos clean install of LTSC 2021 kept freezing comps due to inadequate bluetooth drivers. Then from LTSC 2019 i in-house upgraded them to LTSC 2021, and both work sweet as. My hypothetical question is- in coming future when windows 11 LTSC releases, would i be able to do the same (clean install LTSC 2019, and in-house upgrade to Win11 LTSC)? This is in order to keep the drivers that work only with LTSC 2019.
Hi All, Quick one to run past you guys & girls - I've just switched over to W10 x64 LTSC yesterday and I've downloaded the following ISO image file to do the installation onto my computer but I'm struggling to get the activation sorted out. I've downloaded and ran the **************.mk6 executable but it wont activate when I select KMS38 as it comes back with an error message to state 'Not Supported System Detected!' (it show's I still have 179 days of grace available) along with getting the same issue when I try the other options available. File Name: en-gb_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd_7fe51fe8.iso SHA256: f8cefc47fac0967d207b03dbec091dcbafa23d215940cc967892921915b3d96b Link Used: h-t-t-p-s://isofiles.bd581e55.workers.dev/Windows%2010/Windows%2010%20Enterprise%20LTSC%202021/19044.1288_Enterprise_2021_LTSC/ Is there another tool that I should be doing or could it be down to the ISO image file that I've used (I thought that the ISO image file was the non-evaluation file)? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as it's an older Intel 3rd Gen CPU (cant afford anything new just now) and W10 Pro on it was just a terrible experience (very buggy)!
there are other ways to activate it. i did an in place upgrade to LTSC, didn't lose anything and i did HWID. Microsoft Store still works
Thanks for that but unfortunately my original W10 Pro installation died, so I had to use my flat mate's laptop to download the ISO file - if you don't mind me asking, which HWID utility do you use to get your installation activated? Cheers
Got it! Found one that worked but the only odd thing was having to change the Edition to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 to get it to activate - I'll write that down for the next time I ever have to rebuild the computer (hopefully not for a long time to come!). Cheers
I created an iso with the script. it creates an iso that is at 1904.1 no cumulative updates installed. i copied the oem certificates over to install.wim then recreated iso. 19041.1 still says windows 10 enterprise LTSC 2019. I hwid activated the windows 10 enterprise ltsc 2019 oem key then i installed the latest cumlative update. which changed it to windows 10 enterprise ltsc 2021 hwid activated you can do an inplace upgrade from windows 10 21h2 to windows 10 enterprise LTSC 2021
Thanks for your posts guys - unfortunately I'm not that technical, so it's something I'll have to look into further if I need to rebuild the computer again further down the road.
Just run MAS and your Enterprise 2021 LTSC install will be switched to IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC again, no need to frankenbuild it only for a HWID.
