I don't think it possible to convert 10 PRO to LTSC / IoT check with this command. Code: dism /english /online /Get-TargetEditions
So it would need fresh install then? What can I do then to have enterprise iot without reinstalling windows
you can do an in place upgrade. I did an in place upgrade from windows 10 Enterprise 21H2 to windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 I did not lose anything and Microsoft store works
Change the edition id in regedit to EnterpriseS then launch the setup. it will think your on LTSC and let u do an upgrade
I did. I did an in place upgarde from Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2 to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 21H2 I have no problems, did not lose anything and micrsoft store works u can only convert with an in place upgrade
I had to changed the edition id to EnterpriseS otherwise it would not let me do the in place upgrade. Enterprise is just a virtual edition. doing in place upgrade from pro to enterprise LTSC will work I Went from Semi Annual Channel to Long Term Servicing Channel by doing an in place upgrade
Any idea why updating boot.wim with the latest preview CU results in Windows installation spitting out an error about missing drivers?
Yes. You don't have to do anything, when the autorenewal option is used all will be handled by windows. Exclusions will keep it going yes. No, only licensing and time of support.
Did you update iso \sources\setup.exe? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...2-21h1-vb_release.80763/page-323#post-1647647
Is it possible to do an in place upgrade from my current Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 1809 to the latest version here?
I tried using the latest W10UI and NTLite to update 19041.288 LTSC image with: Windows10.0-KB5013887-x64 Windows10.0-KB5014023-x64 Windows10.0-KB5014035-x64 Normally, all files (not just install.wim and/or boot.wim) get updated and there is no problem. Am I missing any non-features updates? I only care for security and fixes, not features. Where exactly do I get the latest setup.exe and other files needed for fully functional install? Original boot.wim from 19041.288 lets me install without problems.
