I own a Windows 10 Pro license, but it doesn't seem to work in LTSC 2021. Is there a safe way to activate it? I appreciate any help you can provide.
You love your 19045 permanently activated EnterpriseS. How about a reboot after C:\Windows\System32\spp\store\2.0\tokens.dat being deleted?
Windows 10 enterprise IOT enterprise LTSC 2021 has /sfc scannow errors on clean, untouched source image. Is there another source image with no pre integrated updates or that does not result in /sfc scannow errosrs?
I haven't seen one, no matter official or constructed or reconstructed. To me, any image that is accepted by CUs is good.
My image is excepted by CU even though i copied over the oem license certificate and installed 22h2 EP
Deleting toakens.dat removed my activation for EnterpriseS I switched to IoT Enteprise LTSC deleting tokens, dat on a valid system does not remove activation
Hello, could you share details on installing photo viewer app? I want to have some photo viewer app available but don't like the idea of cluttering the nice and clean LTSC with extra packages. I checked store.rg-adguard.net and find out we probably need some dependency packages like Microsoft.NET.Native.Framework, Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime, etc. in order to install Microsoft.Windows.Photos app. Is it right? Is it true that some of those packages may already be pre-installed in LTSC (in WinSxS folder?) so that we can just use them. Which ones do we really need? VCLibs is probably somehow installed and enabled after LCU, because Win+Shift+S started to work after LCU get installed. So probably some packages are already there. OR any other simple photo viewer app to not mess with those packages at all. Lots of guru here on this forum! And nice thread BTW! I would also like to hear the opinion of others about that UWP "Photos" app. PS: The goal is to just prepare golden image to be run under VM. OSOT will be applied there later. But I believe having photo viewer available is a base thing nowadays (I know about Paint, but it's a pain to zoom out every time).
why force yourself to install "photo viewer" when there is a free viewer called irfanview both in setup version and portable with extra plugins without all the extra necessities
why do it from the microsoft store and have the hassle to install that as well download the portable and put in a folder and when one doesnt want it anymore just delete the folder but one can use a setup as well but if one wants no need for M-Store simply try it and see if it suits the needs then no need for the other one if its not then go for the hassle
Hi there. I'm afraid I'm not going to be much use to you as I took no notes and have now forgotten completely what worked for me in the end. Yes you do have to have the dependency packages you listed. I think I finally installed the Microsoft DesktopAppInstaller from rg-adguard to conduct easy installs of bundle. I was unable to download anything from the Microsoft Store. Not available for my version of Windows. I didn't want photos, per se, but I was a way to get the Video Editor. For viewing images I use Irfanview which someone has already recommended. Best wishes...
ImageGlass is also a fast and lightweight program. Have been using it since afew years. No need for cumbersome microsoft photos.
First time installing Windows. I downloaded the iot version but I cannot progress further because it says it's missing drivers. Also, I looked at the install.wim file inside the ISO (the tutorial I was watching specified it) but it isn't present inside the ISO. Could that be the reason for the missing drivers during installation?
FastStone is the amazing with its batch processing and editing capabilities and also is extremely light weight
