Having problems getting Intel control panel/command centre to display. I installed the video driver from Dell (clean install), which says it has just installed the driver, but I don't have access to the intel tools? Device manager says I have both control panel/command centre in the software components section and the services are running, but no apps? I tried manually installing dell's command centre after that, but it failed with I already had it? (it added a 0 byte command centre binary entry to the start menu)
This doesn't work because the demo videos are INSIDE the app. I installed the LAV Filters anyway to see if it would work, but it didn't.
Yes! I installed the Microsoft-Windows-RegulatedPackages as described in the link below and it worked! https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...lby-atmos-and-others-and-updated-dolby.86260/ EDIT: Installing Microsoft-Windows-RegulatedPackages was not necessary. Only Multimedia-RestrictedCodecsDolby is needed if you need to get Dolby Atmos with Headphones. Also, if you get no sound in the demos, try turning off exclusive mode for your headphones.
Strange issue on IoT LTSC : no updates offered for windows and net 4.8.1 today ! Should i ignore it and install updates with W10UI script ??
if you are talking about the preview updates, they are not being offered on 21H2 versions of Windows 10 anymore. -andy-
LTSC 1809 EOL is when you'll see driver / software support for W10 die off - end of 2028 / beginning of 2029. W7 just lost browser support - 14 years after it was released.
Are there any differences between the two, except for their support lifecycles? AFAIK, "Windows IoT" is the replacement for "Windows Embedded". The "IoT" name makes it seem like the SKU has limitations in comparison to its "full" Non-IoT variant.
Only the support time and licensing are different, IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC gets 5 + 5 years support and can't be VL (KMS_VL_ALL or KMS38) activated (MSDM or HWID only). Enterprise 2021 LTSC only gets 5 years support and can't be HWID activated, VL only.
