Anyone using LTSC version of Windows 10 on an AMD X3D processor? Will gaming on LTSC be able to fully utilize the 3D VCache? I suppose one would just need to make sure the mediapack and Xbox Game bar is installed.

I'm still running 21H2 version of Windows 10 2021 Enterprise. If I run KB5015684 to update to 22H2 will I lose my KMS activation? Is it desirable to update?

You can't "update" directly using the KB. Is not allowed (otherwise WU had already did that automatically), but you can install the mum inside it.

No pro or cons doing that. Just cosmetic.

    Hi everybody,

I've just been searching for following old ISO for several weeks and all over the internet, however, I was not able to find any working link. May I ask if somebody still has this ISO or the appropriate SVF file available:
    Code:
    Name: en_windows_10_iot_enterprise_version_1909_x64_dvd_ca030389.iso
    Size: 4894502912 bytes (4667 MiB)

in 2016 i have installed ltsb 2016 and really liked it 1gb ram usage 40 processes running in the background cpu gpu was staying cool and unused when in idle then i was thinking i want something new went for ltsc 2019 and then pro win 11 and it was just more and more crap. few month installed win 11 22h2 the only thing i like about win11 is that explorer is dark and gui bit more improved but cpu constantly in use even patched with msmg toolkit ram 2gb and gpu 50C idle. you cant even use dism resetbase because of store gets corrupted.
two weeks ago wiped out ssds and reinstalled ltsb 2016 again, even replaced gtx 1660 to 1060 so its supported and really this windows is how windows should be. Desktop 3840x2160 on 60" tv over hdmi, uhd movie playing in the background plus browsing internet and only 50 processes in the background. cpu usage 5% at 0.45 Ghz temp 35C while temp in the room is 28C, Gpu load 18% 10W temp 33C, m2 ssd nvme inserted into motherboard m2 slot temp 28C, yup the same as room temp, in windows 11 it was 40 to 50C and i can dism resetbase million times and nothing gets corrupted. plus you can simply disable windows updates using autoruns and enable it if needed. this is best windows ever.

    SOUND RECORDER CLASSIC

Windows 10 IOT don't come with Classic Sound Recorder (voice recorder).
For who is interested to have it, is quite simple process.

What will be needed (Files from Windows 7):

    1. SoundRecorder.exe
    2. WavDest.dll
    3. SoundRecorder.exe.mui (for your corresponding language, example: EN-US)
    4. Sound Recorder.lnk
The files will be picked-up from the folder "SYSTEM32" on Windows 7, and placed in the same folder on Windows 10

The WAVDEST.DLL must be registered via REGSVR32 command. (regsvr32 "%~dp0wavDest.dll").

After that, the Sound Recorder will be ready to use. (But restart the machine is recommended).

Can anyone advise where I can download Enterprise 2021 LTSC and/or Enterprise 2022 LTSC latest release in traditional chinese language?
There seems Windows 10 Iot Enterprise 2022 LTSC is available in zh-cn only and not in zh-tw language, isn't it?

The first and only zh-tw images are linked in first message of this thread (thanks god there arent official updated images for LTSC/IoT, in any language)

Official IoT images are en-US only, but any LTSC image is OK. If you want IoT just install LTSC and switch it to IoT using

    slmgr /ipk <IoT-Serial>

Your post reminds me of the good old days of Windows 98 or when nlite was released for Windows XP. You could get really low RAM usage and barely anything running on the background. It's a shame that Windows is not just an Operating System anymore.

I don't know for sure but I think the only programs you can't use on LTSC versions are those that specifically require MS Store. Even then, you can install the store if you really want to (Although it defeats the purpose of installing LTSC).

acer-5100: Thanks for the reply! I have seen LTSC 2022 in the internet but just in zh-cn language and can be downloaded in Microsoft store direct. I just want to know does zh-tw language exist as well.

    Hi,

    Something doesn't seem right..

So I installed IoT LTSC on my laptop a few months ago.

    Laptop. 27GB space used
Edition Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC
    Version 21H2
    OS build 19044.3086
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19041.1000.0

Today I installed IoT LTSC on desktop, used the same ISO but used W10UI to integrate updates : Updates include LCU, Out Of Box Experience (OOBE) Update, NDP481 Base (), Critical DU for .NET35, DU for SafeOS, Windows 10 version 22H2 Enablement Package (KB5015684), DU for Sources 3203.
    https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...h1-22h2-vb_release.80763/page-16#post-1571109 - #319

However the space used is 100GB as opposed to 27GB on the laptop ! Its the first time I have integrated updates to an ISO, the ISO was abit bigger (5GB v 4.7GB) but the difference in space used is huge. Have I done something wrong ? Also could i just use the original ISO and apply the updates manually, post install ?

    Desktop. 100GB space used
Edition Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC
    Version 21H2
    OS build 19044.3448
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19044.1000.0

Found I had a 70Gb Hibernation file ! Disabled Hibernation and its all good.

However I noticed I had integrated Windows 10 version 22H2 Enablement Package by mistake. Can I uninstall it, or it doesn't do any harm and leave it as is

    Windows 10 version 22H2 Enablement Package (KB5015684) - 19041.1799
Added October 25. 2022 (Originally released July. 25. 2022 NOW PUBLIC!!!)

This new 22H2 EP is NOT applicable to (IoT) Enterprise 2021 LTSC!!!
