And how do you suppose a DIGITAL activation works?

 

kms38 now only, no more hwid activation.

I have digital activation for windows 10 iot enterprise LTSC 2021

windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 does not have digital activation



all you have to do ise use the generic oem key

 

for news computer without previous install

-> kms38 / kms-vl-all

for with old install computer - repair -reinstall

-> hwid are keep linked or not with microsoft account

 

not work ! for news computer without activation read the manual ...

 

When I installed iot ltsc 2021 you could only do hwid because the only edition with kns activation at the time was enterprise ltsc 2021

When I activated iot ltsc 2021, the oem key got installed

 

How to create offline IoT edition from Enterprise LTSC 2021?
I always just installed EnterpriseS with added MAS $OEM$ folder and edition was changed at first boot.
Could someone please extract from MAS script the part which changes Enterprise LTSC 2021 to IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021? So it could be used via SetupComplete.cmd

open cmd as admin do slmgr /ipk the oem key goes there

u can find the key in the product.ini file

 

Microsoft fstopped the free upgrade from windows 7/8 that is hwid no longer works for now. i wonder if that broke digital pirchasing windows via microsoft store

there could be another method doesn't buying windows via microsoft give a digital license?

when u buy a product key doesn't that giva a digital icense so u can reinstall without product key and still get activation?

all digital licenses are tied to the hwid?

 

If you re-install same hardware (without change CPU or mobo) you can still use same key, however some factor if not working, then you need buy Digial License for Windows 10 online.. Microsoft Store Icons completely different for just apps, tools and Apps update..

try newest version of mas (which just came out Oct. 3 and has new hwid activation method)

 

I installed windows 10 Enterprise 2021 in a vm. ran the newest script. for some reason it digitally activated windows 10 Enterprise 2021.

 

Nice, looks like no more need to use IoT LTSC.
