I'm certainly not concerned "by a cosmetic writing." I'm concerned as to whether the driver pack meant for 22H2 will apply to LTSC 2021. If not, I won't buy the new hardware.

    Hello everyone,
I'm a little lost in all these versions of Windows,
I'm looking for the latest LTSC version, is it 2021 please?
No version of Windows 11 LTSC at the moment?
    Kind regards

Where is Windows 10 LTSC 2024 mentioned? he links at the officially released Win 10 Enterprise 2021 LTSC Checksum post, for Windows 11 Enterprise 2024 LTSC there are no official ISOs released so no official checksums available either.

No, if you want to stay 100% legit you need to buy a LTSC key (which is obviously more expensive than Pro ones, given you pay the Home/Pro SKUs mostly with your data, not with your wallet)

Sorry for the noobiness, but is there an upgrade path from 'Win 10 Enterprise LTSC 21H2 19044,4291' to anything newer (still Win 10 LTSC) that isn't requiring a format? :)

LTSC 2021 is the last W10 LTSC, so if you want upgrade you need to upgrade to W11 LTSC, and obviously you can in place upgrade to it.

But even if you want to have a fresh installation there isn't any need to format.

NEVER format unless you have a *really* valid reason to do that (selling the HDD, a nasty virus hard to remove or other uncommon scenarios)

Can I update the IoT Enterprise LTSC version with Cumulative Updates on Patch Tuesdays?

If so, are those updates automatically applied, or do I come to this website to download the updates manually?

And do IoT Enterprise LTSC versions receive Defender updates?

    Why not? It's just windows.

    See above

    Unfortunately yes.

But that useless, crappy, resource hog, spyware can be disabled easily. Using winaerotweaker for example.

  15. I need to deactivate Defender manually (without any .exe), does anyone have .reg file ?

I found one here but I don't know if all registers it's necessary on LTSC 2021

    Use Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc):

computer configuration -> administrative templates -> windows components -> microsoft defender antivirus -> enable "Turn off Microsoft Defender Antivirus"

Millions? most of the global users don't even look at WU and have no idea what fails or installs.

For me personally it only failed on a laptablet with just a 32GB emmc drive and hardly any space to run x86 win 10 anyway:D
