I'm asking here because I don't exactly know where to put this: I'm trying to integrate the November 2025 cumulative update into Windows LTSC 2021. I have everything working up until the October 2025 cumulative update that works fine to integrate, but DISM does not want to integrate the SSU cab file from the November Update (I extracted it from the full LCU), and (I assume) because DISM does not see that the required SSU is in place first it refuses to integrate the November cumulative update throwing an "Unserviceable" error. The way I have found around this for now is to do a clean install with my "Up until October 2025" slipstreamed ISO and then apply the November update manually after the fact. That installs cleanly and everything works. But I would REALLY like to be able to integrate the November update into the INSTALL.WIM as well... if possible.
Could have asked in the dedicated thread: [DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Enterprise/IoT Enterprise (N) LTSC 2021 You have 3 options: - Easiest is to use W10UI (Updates + instructions + exampls) - Use BypassESU X and manually integrate/install the updates. - The hard way, install in audit mode, use W10UI to install the ESU updates or use BypassESU X and install the ESU updates manually or use TSFOrge ESU and let WU install the updates/sysprep/capture
I have Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC IoT 21H2. I go to whatsapp.com, download the installer, install it, and it works, but WhatsApp is doing a lot of strange things: - When I restart my computer, a notification often appears saying that there might be new messages. - WhatsApp often closes without displaying any messages, and the icon stays in the system tray. When I hover the mouse over the icon, it disappears. Chatgpt tells me that this version of Windows doesn't have the Microsoft Store, and the WhatsApp app I have installed is a UWP version that requires the Store. I've been searching online for days but I can't find anything. Has anyone managed to get it working correctly? PD: CMD admin, wsreset -i Activate the Microsoft Store and you can now install from there.
Is there a way to install Windows Updates while keeping the system clean of bloatware? I have a modified ISO with packages and components removed, but as soon as I update, everything gets reinstalled.
So this doesn't happen with the 2019 LTSB, right? Do you know if it supports the Ryzen 7 58xx series?
Ty I suppose the only way to avoid having everything filled with bloatware again is to update offline with an updated ISO that doesn't contain bloatware, right?
It depends on what you removed and how it was removed. Most Microsoft Apps (Appx) won't reinstall. But if you removed packages, especially packages that are generally not meant for removal, then yes these will most likely reinstall. That's why it generally recommended not to debloat Windows any more.
This thread is not about chopping or removing stuff, please keep this clean of that discussion. This is LTSC, nothing to chop or remove...
I followed your instructions, but I must have done something wrong because the information gives me 19044.1288.
= the build of the only officially released 2021 LTSC ISO, if you did the updates integration and it sill is not updated then inform us about what you did and maybe show the integration progress.
Please give me more info, like what exact updates you used, how you set the W10UI.cmd or ini and so on....
I put these files in the folder and started W10UI_10.58r. windows10.0-kb5011056-x64_es.cab windows10.0-kb5068781-x64_33b4e6ee5956ae0f4be6a37716b0ef4fd1720e05 windows10.0-kb5069340-x64_337de603868ecd053b17920f6dcd987971412ec1 windows10.0-kb5066130-x64-ndp481_62d1e2cbc14bd4ef08e10b076868a6ee7a986fa6 windows10.0-kb5062682-x64_c75730b6769533f9095651973482e541b99c366c windows10.0-kb5019180-x64_90a066b0e5fca50d9c75d990fdb89c0e12b987ac Windows10.0-KB5011048-x64 windows10.0-kb5007401-x64_f1bf61d834bb8d9951c7efa23454643daae195b0
Back in 2021, I personally purchased legitimate licenses and keys for IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 from Arrow Electronics as an OEM system builder. Microsoft's verbiage states that the proper use case is for it being installed is on a "dedicated appliance." They prefer that it isn't installed on a "general purpose PC." However, they don't enforce that. How could they? I'm a working DJ. I licensed it for $150 per system for use on custom built "dedicated music performance and production appliances used during live performances - where feature updates and security updates cannot be permitted to impact events and production." There's literally no base requirement for managing industrial or medical equipment. That's merely a typical use case, not a requirement. There are creative ways to properly license the product. Personally, it's none of my business what others do. People should probably just stay in their own lane.
