Can an existing 22h2 enterprise installation be upgraded to 21h2 iot ltsc? Do not ask me why the user wants to do that
I downloaded the de-de_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd_71796d33.iso and tried the upgrade, also from 22H2 but 19045.6456. In my case the option to choose the "IoT 2021 Enterprise LTSC" is not available. I can just upgrade to 2021 Enterprise LTSC. I also tried the matrix tool on the iso but it changed nothing. Is there an xml file somewhere in the unpacked iso where I can force to show me the option for IoT? Or is the iso simply not capable of the IoT version? Because I tried the prepared one and the one you create by using your US iso and the language enabler.

i have a question, i have installed IoT LTSC 21H2 on my laptop, it's been running well, but some apps like: Apple Music,.. require 22H2, is there a way to update LTSC 21H2 to 22H2 but still maintain the Windows Updates ? I looked it up but someone said that if i upgrade it, the Windows updates will stop coming after converting to 22H2
I forgot to screenshot the error. I remember that it said Installation failed, OS does not meet the minimum requirement. The apps that i encountered this problem are: Apple Music, Adobe Premium Pro, Lightroom. I followed Enthou advice and installed normal Enteprise instead. I do miss the smooth feel of LTSC 2021 tho

Windows 10 Enterprise IoT LTSC 2021, which is the best version you want, is only enUS and there is only one ISO, unlike regular Windows 10 Pro which used to get monthly updated isos until October 2025.

Is there a practical difference (other than the included updates) between installing Enterprise from the following images: en-us_windows_10_business_editions_version_22h2_updated_oct_2025_x64_dvd_d2eef4b0.iso vs en-us_windows_10_iot_enterprise_version_22h2_x64_dvd_51cc370f.iso Will there be any difference in the number of processes, applications, or anything else? Or are these identical versions, differing only in the latest update included? And after the automatic update of the first image, there will be absolutely no difference? Thx for help.
