No point in doing that. You'll need to connect a phone to it once in a blue moon and you'll regret installing an N edition. Missing media codecs from windows doesn't translate into better performance in any way shape or form, if that's your motive for installing it.
The answer is "Not good for gaming" A lot of games require codecs that are normally found in the OS and are removed in the N version. It's pretty much the main reason why we don't use it. VLC media player could handle any of the video or audio files, but the games or internet browsers might have issues without the normal codecs.

switching to N edition does not give you any advantages. you're better to stick in non-N edition, N means No Media which most of games are required codecs but N edition lacks any of that.
