I've used windows 10 Pro for roughly 3 years now, but latest updates installed so much bloatware. I wanna try LTSC so I can have a clean Windows 10. Is this LTSC lacking useful stuff like drivers, powershell, Gpu-partitioning, and stuff like that ? Also, is it okay for gaming in terms of compatibility? (Never had a problem with Windows 10 Pro)
Does UWP apps automatically update in Windows 10 LTSC 2021 without Store? My graphics drivers use UWP Apps (Intel Graphics Command Center, Nvidia Control Panel). Let's say in 1 month Intel releases an new update for their graphics driver (that comes with an new app version that needs to be downloaded from store but I don't have any store, will the app still update?). When I install Windows 10 LTSC 2021 and install drivers the driver uwp app installs automatically but there is no clear way of updating it unless I install store... so I'm curious if apps update automatically the same way they automatically install without store too...? Anyone has clue? Same thing happened in LTSC 2019 too TLDR: do graphic driver UWP apps update automatically in LTSC 2021 without store? (they install automatically without store, but do they update automatically as well?)
Can anyone tell me??? Do UWP Apps installed by drivers like Intel Graphics Command Center and Nvidia Control Panel (DCH Driver) get automatically updated whenever the driver gets updated??? I don't wanna install Microsoft Store just to update the drivers apps.... ?
Hi, I want to ask if there are (IoT) versions with other languages as in the normal LTSC version. "en-us_windows_10_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd_257ad90f" I need the Slovak version: "sk-sk_windows_10_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd_xxxxxxxx"
How do I convert en-us_windows_10_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd to pt-br_windows_10_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd ======================================================= I can't find SVF file to pt-br_windows_10_iot_enterprise_ltsc_2021_x64_dvd..!!
Only en-US but you should be able to install normal non IoT LTSC in the desired language and after install change the product key to the IoT one and it should change to IoT. Or see below. There are no other IoT LTSC languages ISOs available, use W10MUI to integrate other language files or install the language after the en-US install has finished.
Got my system reinstalled, so far no issues. Games work, FC6 has DXR etc KMS seems to have worked and Kaspersky isn't complaining (yet) about it. Drivers seem to work fine, not that I really do much I let Windows handle everything even for all my SSDs.
I have noticed a trend of people using HWID activation using IoT version. Is there any particular reason? Is it the 10 yr promised support vs the 5 yr normal LTSC version? I can't honestly say I'd be using the same OS for 5 years, let alone need security patches if I did. I'm just curious. I haven't tested them yet, but from what I know the only difference is the CBS activation package. Also I thought it was supposed to be OEM only. Why is HWID activation allowed without any OEM HW database confirmation?
What is the oldest PC/laptop that anyone has installed either of these on. I'm just wondering if MS has put in any hardware limits, like nags or refusals. similar what they did with 7 on newer hardware.
