All ISOs provided by MDL are expected to be original MSFT, else they are removed by the staff. These are 100% original MSFT: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-enterprise-iot-enterprise-n-ltsc-2021.84509/
Hello, I play Blu-rays with MPC-HC and EVR renderer (because my GPU is old) on LTSC 2019. Works for me, but I don't have a high end display. For IOT, based on what I read, it shouldn't have much difference with non-IOT regular LTSC
Yeah from what i've read it's seems to be a cleaner, optimised for lower hardware, and has more control. But its pretty much the same as normal Windows 10 Pro.
Something overlooked about IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC: it is not available in all regions and languages. If you can't activate it, try first to switch regional settings via settings (location to US, language to en-US etc). Afterwards you can revert back to your localized settings.
In case it helps anyone else out: I have been using LTSC 2021 (non-IOT) with this modification for a while now and I can confirm it works perfectly. The miracast functionality was the only thing I wanted from "regular" windows that wasn't already present in LTSC. All HTPC functionality including Dolby digital works fine. The Dell installer for the 10-bit HDR colour calibration profiles of my monitor did not work on LTSC, but I extracted it manually with 7Zip and installed directly and HDR now works fine too. I installed the Microsoft Store (in case I needed it in the future) too and it appears to work fine, but I don't use it at all so I can't guarantee its all perfect.
Sorry for the newbie question...I'm new to LTSC and trying to install the Windows 10 IOT 2021 LTSC, however I am unable to boot from USB to install windows - it just gets stuck at the booting screen. I've tried several different USB drives, downloaded the file again, tried to create the bootable USB manually (with DISKPART) and using Rufus. Has anyone had any issues booting from USB to install windows? Any help would be appreciated!
Forget Diskpart and Rufus, there is a better tool out there now: Ventoy. You just copy an ISO file to Ventoy USB flash drive and then boot directly from that iso file. You can have multiple iso files with different versions of Windows, Windows PE and Linux on the same flash drive. Just google "Ventoy USB".
is there anything to add to get the office deployment tools to just work ? they work in 2019 but not 2021
Can we install this (the files from abbodi's workaround) later or must it previously integrated in the image file? Unfortunately, I did not understand it correctly. ...And I have the OS already installed and configured
