@Xariwey Evaluation ISOs are time-bombed and they are in fact containing a separate SKU (EnterpriseSEval) instead of regular LTSB (EnterpriseS).
So if you don't activate ltsb with kms, what happens? Is it just like home or pro that just says it isn't activated? I'm very new to the windows 10 OS.
I agree, it was very easy. I was just curious.. I like to tinker and try to understand how things work. Probably why I like Arch too.
D/l finished after 4 mins here... Seems to work fine. Sorry to say but it looks like a problem on your side...
My signature will link you to a post ( https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-ltsb-2016-iso.74013/page-2#post-1362825 ) a few pages back in this very thread, where you can download via a torrent. This is usually best if you have a slower connection as it will make it usually faster and the peace of mind knowing should you get disconnected, you'll be able to continue exactly where you left off. edit: I re-read your post. You've already downloaded Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB, I see, but wondering if anyone is having issues with it. -- Nope. Mine has been running on my computer for 1 full year without issue.
I downloaded 2016 ltsb from that site the other day without issue. I also downloaded it a month ago without issue. My ltsb has been running for a month with nvidia drivers without a single slow down or issue.
I was forced to format/install twice and I cannot figure it out why the system is lagging!? I really don't know. After that I returned to PRO version ( ) and now everything is fine. Honestly I don't know what's going on... I am using a brand new SSD from Intel 545s which I had received today, so this is brand new drive! Thanks guys for your response. Now I don't know if I would play with LTSB again because it really annoys when loosing a whole day and without any positive reaction. Maybe I would try ltsb again but firstly I just want to read your opinions and where to look after this weird experience.
That is odd because, on both older and newer hardware, I found Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (LTSB) to work just fine. As for performance, LTSC (LTSB) worked better than Windows 10 Professional (which technically, I am entitled to have a free copy, but pass it up for LTSB (LTSC)).
Same here. I find it funny how much better ltsb runs then professional... at least on my hardware (X99, gtx970's).
It's really minor, i did benchmark tests and it was not really worth mentioning it. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/win-10-benchmarks.74616/
Interesting. I never tested the performance between the two but applications and games seem it run better. BUT its just how it feels to me, all subjective.
I let Windows to find drivers by itself but I forgot to mention while searching for updates there was one update which was stuck on 96% while downloading... I don't remember the whole update name but I think it was ending with 691. All time system was something doing, like installing without ending. I cannot shut down the laptop because there was always something installing. Really weird experience for me. I will try again ltsb because from what I saw it was the best system so far. Without any mambo-jumbo Microsoft funny things which I am not going to click ever. Thanks guys for your response and trying to helping me out to solve this issue. *EDIT I made a new clean installation of ltsb and the same story repeat itself. The problematic update is: 2017-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4041691) Temperature of the laptop is higher than usually and there is something working/installing without any clue for me. **EDIT FINALLY everything is fine after one hour waiting this bloody laptop to figure it out how to install the frickin' KB4041691 update. I haven't seen so many restarts so far for one god damn update. Now everything is smooth and system is not laggy.
