The dark theme does not work well in version v1607. I use Bandizip with the dark theme and it really looks horrible. I was researching and found that there is a missing API for Win32 applications to adapt correctly, and I understand why, since the dark theme in Windows was introduced long after this version. Update: considering that some of the important software don't turn 100% dark and some don't even support dark mode on 2016 LTSB (i.e. IDM) i am thinking of moving to IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC and see how that works, something to do the next few days My eyes just can't handle the huge white pages anymore, so preparing to move to IoT Enterprise 2021 LTSC

It is set to "0" by default, for 2016 LTSB you need to manually set it to "1" for it to update winre with LCU.
