I upgraded just fine, did need to reinstall a few things (rsat, sccm, ad stuff) and needed to reactivate with my company's mak key. it gives you a windows.old folder if you need to roll back.
Hey, I am new to this LTSC thing but it looks really promising, I am wondering as Microsoft pulled this version out, is there any known bugs? like I've read that the task manager doesn't show accurate results and blinking of some tray icons etc. Can anyone confirm if this true or not? Also, I am going to install this on my New PC (basically for gaming and productivity tasks) so is there any performance difference between this and normal home or pro version? Also, I am going to put an SSD so I hope it works at its optimum speeds. And is it safe to activate this HWIDGEN? does it leave any tracers/malware/junkware?

so i just upgraded from LTSB to LTSC(upgrade not fresh install) and everything went smoothly no hiccups whatsoever, i didnt even need to reuse the KMS activator as it automatically recognised the pc as activated.. cool! so far so good, alot of new shiny stuff in the settings. im not sure if this new upgrade is speedier than previous but it looks good and smooth. im happy, thanks to whoever brought this to light!
hmm.. i didnt know the kms was running as a service. do you know what it disguises as in the processes?
Not realy tbh but I know there are activators were you can install a service that is been used to activate against maybe some one here can answer you question more detailed
