Yeah my attempt failed to do an inplace upgrade got a hardware error defender disabled through gpedit but getting pop ups about defender not enabled haha gonne do take 2 with MSMG toolkit and see
If i install 10 now i only have the 10 files on a usb key, i unplug my storage drive, kms vl all and everything else is on a dvd, try wiping those ya bugger.
Yes it is. The number of processes is almostalmost meaningless when they are instances of the same one, like svhost. Its meant for stability. WinaeroTweaker has a tweak that combines them together.
There is Windows 10 "LTSB 2015", "LTSB 2016" and "LTSC 2019". The latest release being LTSC 2019. You can use s1ave77s S-M-R-T SVF ISO CONVERTER This tool will download and create the ISO you want.
Yeah I got a boatload of processes even after stripping down LTSC with MSMG Toolkit. I have a bunch of services set to manual as well. It's a heavy load even considering they broke out each service in its own svchost. Quite a stark comparison to win7. Crazy the way win10 has ballooned from win7, culture shock for me since I moved up to win10 only recently. Yeah it is, nasty thing they canned with Windows. MSMG Toolkit does a bang-up job getting rid of all traces. For me it works great at removing everything else I don't want too.
If you have special files you don't want deleted, you can put them in a folder or on a drive, and exclude it. You can also exclude processes. It is actually not that difficult, and you can do it by powershell if you wish. That being said, I remove defender.
Hello, I recently bought a 2019 LTSC license off Ebay, but of course I don't trust the ISO provided with the purchase. I did install it in a virtual machine and activated it, merely to test it. Now I installed LTSC 2019 and LTSC 2019 Refresh acquired from SVF.ISO.CONVERTER-master but both are the evaluation version. Is that intended? If so how do I acquire the full version from it?
That's like saying I bought a stolen car from a shady seller but now I don't trust the mileage reading on the meter. As for SF.ISO convertor,it is supposed to convert eval iso version to full version using svf files so looks like some error on your end.
It seems that Windows Defender still obey to the group policy, I disabled it that way. It didn't erase my password retrieval softwares from NIrsoft and other "dangerous" stuff, the real trouble is that the Security Health UI don't really say if it is offline ("controled by your organisation"). First reboots after GPO, it even said the contrary (bug ?) but not anymore. Windows Update seems to obey too, they must be done manually now. I disabled the service and few scheduler tasks, to be sure. I would rather avoid any drivers annoyances...
Hi all. I've just installed this LTSC version, but I'm having a strange issue with loading some websites. Doesn't matter what browser - chrome or IE. I've uploaded an example of what they look like, it's as if the HTML isn't loading properly. Strange things is, most websites I visit work fine. Any ideas? I've not set this version of Windows up any differently to the other builds. Edit: Nevermind, turns out it was Bitdefender having some sort of fit...
