Due to the fact the system packages get bundled more and more it's expected that LTSC will still carry deactivated remnants that aren't affecting performance and stability. Cortana might get removed in future version after the unbundling from Search . Disabling it via GPO is sufficient though. LTSC 17763.316 runs fast and stable here on 3 machines and some of my friends ones. The latter use it as gaming system with absolutely no performance problems, unlike on 1703/1709/1803.
Okay. Thanks for the quick answer. So Optimzie-Offline is not really necessary because the LTSC version already takes a lot of things into account! What about all the tracking/logging etc.!? Do you know anything? What is the best way to activate LTSC 2019?

Pretty easy to shut off the telemetry, couple registry entries and disable a couple services. That part is no different than other versions.
Yeah there's a few artifacts here and there. Nothing that's ever bothered me. There's things like dead end context listings I've been able to get out of there with a reg tweak. There's a few things in settings that don't do anything, no harm no foul. LTSC runs well for me on a new model laptop. Feel fortunate you and other guys that support MDL forums provided what I need to run LTSC, much happier with it than Pro. I don't use UWP apps and other features LTSC lacks. Nice to be free of the store and apps. Saves me the trouble of removing them.
Bin doing a inplace upgrade to fix a problem wel I have a jan updated ltsc iso without defender and every time I tick check for updates at setup it fails after 30% I have been looking for errors all the way I thought it had to do something with my partitiions setup so been fiddling around with that after 3 hours I decided to untick look for updates at setup an voila upgraded perfect figures MS
Okay, I'm new here and this is a lot to take in. I'm looking for the LTSC 2019 N iso, where can I get it (specifically, the latest version where file deletion is fixed)? I've got a bunch of hashes to test it against, so I'm just looking for a trustworthy source.
There is no what? No N version? No version without the file deletion bug fixed? Why are N editions bad? They have less bloat like skype and stuff. I think I want it. And where is the iso? Sorry, so many questions
17763.1 has N and non N. 17763.107 only has non N. So, pre-integrate all 4 current updates in 17763.1 and you will have an uptodate iso, containing N. N versions are crippled by EU law, not advised to be used, you will encounter bugs in the future. All currently supported ISO's can be downloaded, using the CMD version of SVF2ISO.
