According to enthousiast's post, this is not a new build, it's a refreshed iso with updates integrated. I still prefer starting from the first build, but that's just personal preference. Cheers.
This is the baseline (original first release) ISO (17763.1) This is the february 2019 refresh iso (17763.316)
Thanks for this and soz for slow as mollases reply. I've got an ISO, cld u pls direct me to what to do next?
From previous replies i assume you wanna go from LTSB 2016 EVAL to new LTSC full version. Copy content of the ISO to a folder (preferrably not on your system drive). In \sources\ sub-folder of copied ISO create an ei.cfg named file with following content: Code: [EditionID] EnterpriseS [Channel] _Default [VL] 0 In admin CMD: Code: reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" /v CompositionEditionID /t REG_SZ /d "EnterpriseS" /f reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" /v EditionID /t REG_SZ /d "EnterpriseS" /f reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion" /v ProductName /t REG_SZ /d "Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC" /f Run setup.exe from root folder of copied ISO. It should offer to keep programs and settings.
Do you have a new build Windows Lite? I have downloaded and used Windows lite v5 from you, and have a problem with dial up (modem), the dial up cannot be connected
If I've used KMS_VL_ALL to activate LTSC 2019 but now want to use a product key I bought to activate LTSC. When I go to the Activation panel in Settings, it says "windows is activated using your organization's activation service". And when I click on "Change product key" nothing happens. What do I have to do to remove the KMS activation and activate LTSC with my new product key?
Most lite versions for many years have been stripped too much to function for most users IMO You need to really make your own custom one
I was able to remove the KMS activation so I could enter in my product key by doing the following: 1. open command prompt 2. Type in slmgr /upk and press enter - this removes the current activation from the system 3. Type in slmgr /cpky and press enter - this removes the old activation key from the registry 4. restart the computer 5. Open Settings -> Activation 6. Click "Change product key" and enter in the new product key It worked and went smoothly.
I know. but I like the Windows lite IK version (IVANKEHAYOV). maybe he has the latest version of Windows Lite that he made. By the way, thank you for the quick response
relatively minor difference. there were also refresh ltsc 2019 isos in Nov. 2018 that were build 17763.107 (I got them at the end of November). the 17763.1 build was the one (released in early Oct. 2018) that potentially deleted user files upon upgrading if the "folder redirection" option was turned on
