A malware exploiting a previously unknown system vulnerability can bypass such measures like "don't download unverified software and use latest browser with adblock" easily.Once MS support is over, there will be no efforts on MS part to search for these unknown vulnerabilities & release patch for them proactively. As for ltsc advantages, just from security point of view,it has better protection against system vulnerabilities & spectre/meltdown/similar hardware vulnerabilities.Of course one can still make a 8.1 system as secure as ltsc by applying more security policies etc but that is valid till the end of official support.
You can update your Enterprise 2019 LTSC offline/online to 17763.615: Enterprise 2019 LTSC build 17763.1 or Enterprise 2019 LTSC build 17763.107 or Enterprise 2019 LTSC build 17763.316 + W10UI + https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-17763-1-107-pc-r.77945/page-216#post-1490183 = Enterprise 2019 LTSC build 17763.615
I installed the Store Package and use some apps like mail. There is a thread about Store and Edge for LTSB/C.
I know that,it was a rhetorical statement Btw is this "store package" same as adding store(I mean visually like you get a store taskbar icon which open a store window etc or is it just files/reg entries added but nothing on UI unless you actually install some uwp app).
You obvously won't get all integrations ... it's the pack from here (abbodi1406). Still is sufficient .
I cant get the control panel on ltsc cos of store and what i have seen it doesnt work if you do get it. Ive been using 26 drivers for a while but i want to see if i really need the control panel or not.
