@sungerbob see if deferral blocks it Code: net stop wuauserv reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings /f /v DeferFeatureUpdatesPeriodInDays /t REG_DWORD /d 365 UsoClient StartInteractiveScan
@whatever127 posted something working like that when it first occurred, way back https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ltsc2019-techbench.77028/page-78#post-1518817
I know that, but i forgot this part "I have found that this value is not very reliable in my tests using UUP dump API" because i also tested it with UUP dump API and it didn't work, so i assumed they start ignoring it
@Tom Mix you don't need to have the microsoft store installed for the new intel control panel UWP app to work. I have more than one LTSC installation, where I have the newest intel graphics driver installed and the control panel UWP app gets automatically downloaded, installed and even updated in the background, without me having to configure anything manually. btw, same goes for the audio control panel UWP app from realtek. -andy-
@AndyMutz i am baffled. because on half a dozen machines i can not confirm. no UWP app. there are policies on the machines that deactivate store and telemetrie... do you have policies for privacy active?
I have seen this offered on a test LTSC 1809 while scanning with WUMT against Microsoft Update. Weird, but obviously a bug, unless something unknown yet is getting prepared behind the scenes. I am thinking about something similar to the offering of CR Windows Server Core.
@AndyMutz well, i will test with a new default GPO/GPP machine and see what happens. @ch100 i will try that too. maybe it is possible to fetch this 'update' and distribute it offline...
so today I tested the behaviour of the intel graphics driver on LTSC: - I installed LTSC 2019 offline (without a network connection), with default settings - after that I installed all OS updates and drivers for unknown components (including the newest graphics driver for UHD 630), still being offline - then I installed open-shell as it makes it easy to launch UWP apps on LTSC. at this moment, there was no intel control panel listed under the UWP apps, only the default apps were shown (search, settings, windows security) - now I connected the network, windows started downloading stuff in the background and not even one minute later the intel control panel UWP app (graphics command center) was installed and fully working so.. no store and no microsoft account is needed for the UWP portion of the intel graphics driver to install/update, it all happens automatically in the background. -andy-
How do i download the damn thing when its needed for another pc, this one is amd, how do i d/l and save for later when that machine is and will remain airgapped? I cant keep relying on generosity each time. Edit - windows wouldnt let me add the folder, i had to fiddle with permissions. i worked out how to use powershell and added the command after i had installed the dch drivers. tried to start the control panel and i get an error . i double checked the command with the folder and filenames. screw you intel Imagine the profanities that will be hurled at intel if this happens when they release their own graphics cards? the s**t will really hit the fan.
Hey All, Please could someone refresh the sources for 1903 LTSC N? The link to cloudmail ru 404s by the looks
There is no LTSC 1903. The latest is 1809. Updated February 2019. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-svf-repository.63324/page-149#post-1508400
Thank you and sorry for being pain, obvious newbie here. Is there a .316 build of it? The link in the quoted post looks to be removed by auto-mod but I could be wrong: no_short_urls_allowed/2LQdvSi
