I was wondering if there is a way to remove Google/chrome from the registry in LTSC? HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\chrome.
LTSC Ever since some CU, some months ago, I've had to open the 'start menu' twice to get it to work (aka - not all greyed out), has annoyed me these months, but no matter what I tried to do, nothing fixed it. Move forward to today, I decided to load up the system in ntLite (aka - working on it LIVE), noticed a few things there that I had removed long ago, but the important one was Cortana. Although not present in the day to day use of the system, it was showing as there in ntLite, so I removed from LIVE installation and rebooted. Presto! Start menu problem solved Click to open and not all greyed out Just a heads up if someone else has this problem. I think, going forward, I will maybe install latest Windows, update, then just remove all the s**t LIVE, save to a preset, then when I install any CU in future, load preset and repeat. Anything for an easy life
KMS38 can only activate Windows. If you have Office on your system use kms_vl_all which can activate Windows and Office. With the autorenewal feature, install it and forget it.
Wow from no feature updates the next 10 years to 1 every few days, are you sure about that switch? You can try to edit the registry to let windows think it's Pro and next upgrade to the Pro build you want.
Enthousiast, do you have a copy of en-gb_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_cd49b901.svf or the associated exe? or will one with a different version code at the end work fine? it appears to be a different version in the mega repo. I'm looking for something to patch the eval ISO s1ave11's tool downloaded, as the svf links embedded into that are no longer working.
s1ave77's tool is useless now the svf patches are gone. What build is that iso? would make the search a bit easier for me. It's 17763.1, what is wrong with it? https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-svf-repository.63324/page-128#post-1468363
Ah, whoops... The filename of my iso is 17763.1.180914-1434.rs5_release_CLIENT_LTSC_EVAL_x64FRE_en-us if that helps? Thank you very much for looking!
The file on mega seemed to have a different filename... until I noticed I was on the x86 folder and my iso was x64. Sorry for bothering you haha
