Hi pm67310! Merci pour ta réponse ;-) In fact, it doesn't work like that with LTSC2019 (and since 1809 release in fact): copyprofile option in unattend.xml is not really functionnal... So in fact, go to audit mode, install drivers and programs then create an other admin user "test"(which will be deleted after the operation). Delete those keys: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Associations\FileAssociationsUpdateVersion HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Associations\UrlAssociations Then disconnect from Administrator account and connect to "test". Under the account test, I used Defprof utility from Forensit and copy administrator profile to default user profile. When done, disconnect from account "test" and restart (obviously in audit mode) Delete "test" profile and user account. Launch sysprep with answer file unattend.xml And then capture your image. That's all. ;-)
That will work. Just make sure you do not install any new Windows Apps, or update the current Windows Apps, while in Audit Mode because it will then no longer be provisioned for installation but rather be tied to the account of the user who installed/updated, thus causing Sysprep to fail. If you want to install any new Windows Apps, or update any current Windows Apps, sideload them into the offline image instead.
I didn't know that was a consideration because I mostly deal with LTSC which doesn't have metro apps installed so I don't really think about them. Thanks for the tip
My W10 Enterprise LTSC clean install from built 10.0.17763.1 and update to newest built dont have spotlight in setting lockscreen. What happend? I think problem from always use below GPO settings but no luck from changing. Pls help. Many thanks 1. Delivery Optimization download mode: bypass (100) 2. Allow Telemetry: 0-Security(Enterprise only) And one more problem. The slidershow lockscreen setting can be set but really not work. The wallpaper folder for it is same with slidershow backgrounds.
I am curious about this too. I love enterprise, just ordered a 3700x + mobo + ram and am wondering if it will work ahead of time.
This question has been asked numerous times in this very thread. The search function is not to be feared! Will it work? Short answer is yes it will work but you will not benefit from the scheduler improvements that were implemented in 1903 and higher builds.
Anyone know how to create a UEFI bootable USB of "en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_5795bb03.iso" ? The ISO worked perfectly for a VM. dd if=en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_5795bb03.iso of=/dev/usb bs=4m shows up as a valid drive but wont boot.
Thanks - I didnt get a chance to try as my friend suggested I try Rufus which surprisingly worked! The only difference I can tell vs writing the ISO itself was the partition type
