No,if it can be activated then it is not eval version(at least not how a regular eval install would look like).

 

Will The Add-MicrosoftStore-RS work, which is posted somewhere on this forum?
Just Curious cause I am only upgrading because I want WSL.

1/ just download from the magnet link. yo can activate it later with KMS_VL_ALL
2/ you can't activate the eval version
3/ ltsc contains both ltsc and ltsc N

 

i may be wrong but it should still work.
still stuff will be missing. so older apps and games which worked on ltsb 1607 will work, but newer stuff like forza 4 will probably not work because of missing (newer) apps which get installed with the Add-MicrosoftStore-RS package.
rather wait on an updated version and install it then (if you can wait)

 

server 2019 is more lean than this btw

 

Can anyone tell me if taskbar bug is fixed because if I install it I will be disabling automatic updates altogether... So I need the os without any bug or I have to wait for that... Currently on ltsb 2016..

 

The only bug i found on LTSC is the task manager bug...

So if I wait will be it be fixed in some updates in coming days than I can download it from teamos site or ltsc 2019 bugs never get fixed until next ltsc???

 

I don't know if they'll fix this on a future CU or in a feature update, hope they fix it with a CU.

 

we get security updates and bug fixes.
the iso will stay the same, there won't be an updated iso.
so just install it and wait for the bug fix to come through to windows update

 

oh it is, look at the detailed whitepapers ms published outlining diff between server 2019 and ltsc, 1 diff they mention is nothing xbox related is in server unlike ltsc.....and thats only 1 thing

Is there a way to get the old Windows Photo Viewer to work like you could in 2016? It will not change off of paint when I try to change what program opens the JPG/PNG.

 

it's not. just because ltsb has some xbox stuff integrated doesn't mean server 2019, which is full of server tools, apps and other useless stuff for normal desktop users, is more "lean".

sorry i haven't thought about homebrew stuff since i only install the "legit" iso's. my bad
