Did you try it on LTSC 1809? The resources files used to patch the DLL's are the same in Windows 7, 8.1 and LTSC 1809 but so theoretically speaking any iconpack using .res files to patch the imageres.dll should work across 7, 8.1 and 1809 but since this is only a theory and I only tested it on 8.1 hence I posted in 8 section.
no friend, I have another source and that surprised me because I'm part of the forum too and DID NOT know this again I say that Google is our eternal friend LOL

ok I am aware of this because it took me a long time to figure out how to modify and inject the files correctly and according to my source also works with all versions Win7, Win8.1. Win10 21H1 and Win10 1809 so just followed the instructions and voila works like a charm! but i repeat it again when it is necessary to use the sfc /scannow command for some reason is that I will know if it really works or the system will remove everything who live will see ...
Hey guys, I have to ask you a question... I'm about to install my first W10. I picked 2019 LTSC (17763.316). So the question is... what about Antivirus or Firewall? On W7 I used (free) Commodo firewall (old version) and (free) Avast anti-virus. On W10 I see people talking about (default) Windows defender that comes by default (from what I understand it comes with LTSC 2019 as well). I saw people saying that Windows defender is 'good enough'? Is that boh anti-virus and firewall or just one of these 2 things, and... should I intall something else (somethng better)? I'm interested in 'free' versions of something 'good' (if such thing exist). If windows defender is good for both (anti-virus and firewall) please let me know so I can be prepared with information and know what to do once W10 LTSC is installed. Thanks!
Hello fellow, well what I can say is that personally I do not use and never used Windows defender since M$FT has released this application and as for Windows Firewall there are controversials here in the MDL, well here I usually use several re-configurations remember that my system is fully modified by me and help of good companions as my Master MSMG (MSMG Toolkit) beyond excellent tips from my good Master Chris Titus where I am discovering the wonders of PowerShell in this way my Windows has an ISO with only 2.4GB fast as a ray and it hardly causes some kind of problem=I'm very happy with my system until 2029 if my good God so permit
Thanks Tiger-1 for your answer. Yes, I already went though MSMG ToolKIT topic. At first (since I'm new to all this) I thought that maybe LTSC 2019 wasn't supported, but then I saw in his change log notes for v11.7 this: So, I guessed that his latest MSMG ToolKit v11.7 does support cleaning of 2019 LTSC ISO file from 'un-needed' sh1t (I mean 'staff'). Then, I was looking at other topics and found one topic about some windows registry 'h4cks'. Well, thing is... I only tried W10 once long time ago (6-7 years ago). I tried it for 30-60 min and really got sick of it, and removed it and installed (again) my current W7 Ultimate. Over the years I was gathering and implmenting small 'tweaks' that I found on different sites. Also tweaks that put back some options that were 'gone' from windows XP. So yes, I understand what you mean when you said that you made your LTSC 2019 ISO file 2.4GB in size and that you used some powershell commands to make it all 'perfect' for you. Thing is... I'm new to W10 (still have to install it), and...time is what is required for me to see what-is-what. Things that you know, I have no clue what they are cause I didn't experienced W10 (yet) aside from that 1 hour 6-7 years ago. So... I would appreciate if there is a topic (or guide) of what things should be 'removed' from the ISO and what powershell commands should be run to do (described) things. Is there such a topic or a guide here, so that I can make my W10 LTSC 2019 fast as that ray of light of yours? EDIT: And... also...you didn't said what you use as your firewall and anti-virus since you don't like windows defender (we share the same feeling toward Win defender but I thought...'huh, who knows... 'maybe' M$ did the right thing for a change, this time)
So, what you guys use as a firewall & anti-virus? I might try to go with commodo firewall since I used their old (firewall only) app for a long time. But for antivirus I have no idea what to use on win 10 ? I used Avast AV on Win 7. Both Comodo and Avast which I used were old apps from the days where firewall apps were just firewalls and antivirus apps were just antivirus, and not combos like nowdays (both firwall and antivirus in one app). Comodo does have CIS (comodo internet security suite) but its not free, so I'll try to install only firewall component and hope that will let me use its firewall for free. But... what about antivirus? Any good (secure and free) AV out there? What are your suggestions?
Hi; what's the difference between fr_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_5fe6b360.iso and SW_DVD5_WIN_ENT_LTSC_2019_64-bit_French_MLF_X21-96433.iso ? When booted, the first one let me choose between LTSC and LTSC n, the second one shows me a license agreement then once accepted, let me only choose the destination disk.
