Dumb question: when integrating updates to make an up to date iso, is there any difference when using 17763.1 or 17763.316 as base iso? Which is the recommended one? Or it doesn't matter?
Use 17763.1, it's the base ISO and does not have any updates integrated. Anything not ending in .1 already has pathes integrated and the resulting image will not be as clean as the base image+updates.
Thanks for the quick reply!
KB5020685 on Windows 10 LTSC 2019 doesn't install at all and always shows the same error I've searched everywhere and nothing else! do i need to reinstall windows? and more it always gives the same error:2022-11 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.7.2 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64 (KB5020685) - Error 0x80092004
I have an older PC where I had 1909 installed. How do I downgrade to 2019 LTSC without reinstalling the software? I tried changing EditionID and build with regedit, but I still only get option to clean install
Actually that would be an upgrade, switch license to 1909 Enterprise and you should be able to upgrade to Enterprise 2021 LTSC with the option to keep apps, files and settings.
To downgrade, there must be some reason.
18363 to 17763...
1909 is out of support and 1809 gets support till 2029 and I wan't 1809 as this is last version where Glass8 worked to restore the Aero Effect.
I mistakenly thought you wanted to go to (IoT) Enterprise 2021 LTSC.
