Use 17763.1, it's the base ISO and does not have any updates integrated. Anything not ending in .1 already has pathes integrated and the resulting image will not be as clean as the base image+updates.

I have an older PC where I had 1909 installed. How do I downgrade to 2019 LTSC without reinstalling the software? I tried changing EditionID and build with regedit, but I still only get option to clean install

Actually that would be an upgrade, switch license to 1909 Enterprise and you should be able to upgrade to Enterprise 2021 LTSC with the option to keep apps, files and settings.

To downgrade, there must be some reason.

    18363 to 17763...

1909 is out of support and 1809 gets support till 2029 and I wan't 1809 as this is last version where Glass8 worked to restore the Aero Effect.

I mistakenly thought you wanted to go to (IoT) Enterprise 2021 LTSC.

Downgrading means clean install. MS' rules, not ours.

Thank you. Mainly for Aero Effect.

It'd be possible only if both 18363 and 17763 are compatible.

Anyway. Do the right thing which is beneficial to you as possible as you can.

Yeah, I found that out when I upgraded from LTSC to Enterprise and a few months later realized that was a big mistake. Couldn't go back to LTSC, had to do clean install.

you can go back from Enterprise to LTSC (unofficially), but the new OS has to have the same or higher build number.
