Is this thing stable? Does MSMG Toolkit support mit to get rid of crapware? Does it install IE by default? Are there updates for it? Does it come with WDDM 2.5? Is it... sexual?
Yes, its stable. It does have Internet Explorer (not Edge) installed by default. I'm not really sure about the MSMG toolkit support. I would assume its pointless because LTSC is already 'bloat-free' but I could be wrong
MSMG Toolkit v8.8 does not support RS5 release yet. LTSC 2019 is RS5 branch, so wait for new version. I made some tests, and ended with a lot of errors. And as you said, there is no much to 'debloat" to LTSC 2019...
@TheStutch @GodHand When attempting to use the latest version of the Optimize-Offline Powershell 3.1.1.6 script posted at #233 with added services based on a list provided by abbodi1406 everything completes fine. On the other hand, when i try to install windows i get stuck @ there is a problem thats keeping us from getting your pc ready to use, but we think an update etc. The Pc restarts in a loop ending in the same message. Any insights as to what’s going wrong?
Just restored a 2016 ltsb image myself just no big deal this for me and for what i do 2016 has been solid
hmm W 10 LTSC 2019 is as stable as a raft about a tsunami, hehe I think that your kernel is made of glass, maybe I should use it in 3 years lol
Next Tuesday is patch Tuesday. Is there any change of getting an update for LTSC that corrects some of the issues reported here? Cheers.
When I run $PSVersionTable.PSVersion in a Powershell this is the result: Spoiler Code: Major Minor Build Revision ----- ----- ----- -------- 5 1 14409 1012 Yes. "Most" Clean installing with anything over 20GB of data is always a pain. It seems to defeat the purpose of the upgradability then.
