Same for me. When try LTSC 2019 for 2 days, I have some issues: - Sometime get stuck when restart. - Brightness resets to 50% after reboot. - Clock reverts to wrong time after a reboot.
I'm fairly sure that's how Optimize-Offline works. @GodHand has in the past frowned upon "hack tools" that butcher an OS image in order to get rid of unwanted items. I believe his method leaves everything intact, but dormant. I know you didn't specifically ask about reactivating intact dormant items, but don't believe it's easy to do. MS can't reactivate items you've disabled using the Optimize-Offline tool and you'd have to ask him if it's possible for you to do so. It is, of course, easy to re-activate the services he disables as well as the ones I mention that are suggested by @abbodi1406.
I have the same on firefox because i have like 5+ extensions for privacy and protection. For 1fichier i just copy the link in internet explorer (which I hardly use so it has almost no daya stored on me) and voila, downloads starts.
@Enthousiast I think he meant 20gb of personal data and programs already installed = not wanting to move / resinstall everything.
Hey GodHand, thanks a lot for your script. Do you plan to support other languages in future? Tried it with my german LTSC 2019, but it didn't boot and was stuck at "Getting ready", even when I changed all paths of the script from "en-US" to "de-de".
Can I upgrade and keep installs like in previous Windows versions or is it limited to personal files?
I can't understand the point of windows ltsc if you are going to bloat it with edge and store and apps why not simply install the normal enterprise
Hello @TheStutch Hello @GodHand I followed your instruction for using Optimize-Offline with the latest "en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_74865958.iso": https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-enterprise-ltsc-2019.76325/page-12#post-1464527 Everything seems fine at first, because the script runs fine (except an error pointing me at Win32Calc, which should get skipped because my file is called LTSC, but it still runs and ends in an error). I was able to create to copy the files to a bootable USB stick and tried to install Windows 10 with it. After choosing my drives (Deleted all partitions), there is one reboot. After that, Windows shows the boot screen and is getting stuck at "Getting ready". It just doesn't move forwards from there. Any help would be great, I wasted many hours with it.
If version is getting near EOL the Update Hijackers will do . Was annoying back when using 1607 Pro version.
