So I installed MS Photos app from the Store (by accident), and the uninstall option is grayed out? Is that normal?
This doesn't look like it's quite ready for prime time to me built on an evaluation version, and modified with svf's from previous versions to create what purports to look like a real rtm iso. I will not bother to download anything, and will wait in the weeds for a real rtm to come along with most of the bugs squashed, ...T
This doesn't answer my question. I know it doesn't come with the store, I added it afterwards, installed Photos (along with a few other apps - which I am able to uninstall btw), but the uninstall button is grayed out.
if the store is only partially working in the ltsc, why install the store? sounds like you need to revert bro
How can you ask if it is normal when you modded it in the first place? I started taking these weird drugs I found on the street, now my head is twice the size, is that normal?
Unfortunately you're mixing things up. Bugs in a particular build and delta patching (you need to clear up your concepts on this one) are entirely uncorrelated subjects.
i installed LTSC x86 today and i noticed a lot of bugs as the inability of accessing "settings", so it seems that we have to wait a little bit until this edition gets stable.
Uniqlo - 'Settings' is fine here (x64 tho), as all are other univeral apps (cept calc). Upgrade or clean install?
OK I'm clueless, my name after all is tonto, don't expect rocket science. Posts 1869, 1871, 1878,1879 and 1888 identify at least a dozen issues with this creation. While it's fine to install this, or it's base eval.iso on a test machine to test and identify problems NOOBS should not expect to use it for any other purpose, or try to do any useful work with it. The development of svfs and the tools to apply them in modifying isos is a great achievement, however in this case it's like putting lipstick on a pig, it does nothing to fix any of the unredeeming characteristics of this particular eval.iso I will continue to wait in the weeds for a real rtm to come along with most of the bugs squashed then we can make something really nice. ...T
You still make assuptions based on a apparent lack of knowledge. #1. Most of the named bugs are already fixed. #2. You mix the (partially fixed) bugs with the creation of SVF. #3. To create a SVF you need a source (EVAL is a static link offered by MS directly hence the most reliable source to use for any tool) and the TARGET ISO. Means @Enthousiast downloaded the round-about 150 MVS ISOs directly from MS Servers and created the SVFs. #4. The ISO created from the SVF is 100% identical to the MVS ISO used to create said SVF file. No matter what source is used.
Thanks, most of this needs to be re-directed to @Enthousiast for the painfully hard job to get the countless MVS ISOs from it's source (without having a MVS account btw) and creating AND UPLOADING all of them to a host (he additionally pays for). The other part to @mkuba50 for the nice bash solution that allows to download from the SVF share in an automatted way. Not that easy to download using commandline tools . Without both there wouldn't be a tool .
