Windows Insider Program tab on Settings is absolutely normal. In the other hand, If you previously signed up for insider previews, and if you logged in your windows with the same account, Windows automatically add you to insiders. Now click on that and say "stop receiving insider builds.".
I don't even remember I have sign up for Windows Insider previews last yr. Not sure why it would totally sign me into one when I have been using my Local Account instead.
IE will continue to exist. Microsoft's focus is enterprises and a lot of them have in-house developed web portals that only work correctly in IE.
And Windows Media Player is still here too you know, this Groove Music app still don't know how to visualizations xD B) honestly I prefer IE to remains only in LTSB
GDR-DU: General Distribution Release. If updates are only delivered from Windows (or Microsoft) Update (including via WSUS), then all the files remain on the GDR branch. Info taken from microsoft site.
I hope you are right, but I have a Windows phone and have been bitten several times by Microsoft's tendency to rip a feature out months or years before a replacement will be ready, if a replacement is even planned.
I imported and approved the update in my wsus. now the clients are sticking at 0% downloaded. Or maybe it's an illusion. When I checked services, Windows Update and bits weren't running so I started them. Now it's sticking at 100% downloaded but no installing yet.
