Please stop with asking questions for what the answers are obvious, when you did take a look at the filenames in the xml you never had published it.
Meanwhile just confirming that i finally did the deed and got my copy of Windows 10 Pro, ive been avoiding it like the plague, but with many of my punters being stuck with it, i figured id better get me an activated copy for the inevitable troubleshoot at odd hours... Due to my poor eyesight i used the assistive technologies method... 3GB later i ran the getosstate.exe (who knows if i could have used just any old getosstate.exe from a friend...) and copied the resulting xml to a safe place Downloaded 14393.0.160715-1616.rs1_release_clientcombinedsl_ret_x64fre_en-us_95b1fcd4c17913c635ffaabda2f16a24659b5106.esd from the OP - thanks Abbodi1406, it works fine...well it converted to ISO and booted and installed Converted it to an ISO Rufused it to a USB key Created a VHD file on my storage HDD Rebooted to USB installed Shift+F10'd it Attached the VHD Installed Windows 10 - Chose Pro from the edition list - Skipped the key Rebooted (with no interwebs) Placed the xml in the right spot Rebooted Turned interwebs back on Activated Signed into my outlook account Then of course, changed Windows 7 back to default on the bootloader via msconfig Rebooted into my happy place to write this post If i have to i can boot to it...nice to have the evilness and bugs stored in a single vhd file at least Oh, are people still waiting for ISO's?....
i have install professional version slmgr /dlv showed that my channel is volume kms. i had to remove product key and install generic retail key for activation. did anyone have this issue?
I cant convert the esd file have done that before i click on it and nothing is happening and yes i have disabled antivirus and everythiing else done with admin rights and not.
It won't be changed until you do a clean install. It has to maintain the eula channel from the method you upgraded, which is presumably kms activated 7/8.x
No, you're wrong. It was offered even on 10586 Enterprise. Currently i investigate is this tool obsoleted in all versions of Windows 14393.
The only way i got it to convert was to use Dism++ (sorry i cant post links yet, but its on here), and choose File then ESD --> ISO On the screen that appears, locate ESD in top box, locate where you want to save the ISO in the bottom one, and youre off....easy peasy I tried 3 other ESD to ISO progs and none of them worked....
i did dl the latest one it was uploaded 1 hour ago. i can dl the latest version thrue swedish page but not thrue us server.
Abbodi1406's and adguards esd>iso converters work 100%, been doing it all days since the first esd's arrived.
